I designed and implemented a low-cost virtual Emergency Operations Center (EOC) with secure authentication, enabling multiple authorized users to collect, view, and store EOC information collaboratively. This solution replaced a previously manual, paper-based process.

The system was developed using Adobe Dreamweaver for web design, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual assets, and Google Workspace tools (including Sheets and Docs) for structured data collection and documentation.

The virtual EOC was successfully deployed during a multi-agency training exercise involving representatives from multiple local government agencies, including the National Guard and the Virginia State Police. The exercise served as the first operational test of the system and demonstrated its effectiveness in supporting coordinated emergency response operations.

I assisted in the testing, configuration, and implementation of Pittsylvania County's Text-to-911 system, supporting major carriers including Verizon, AT&T (FirstNet), and T-Mobile.

Pittsylvania County operates a state-of-the-art P25 Phase II 700 MHz radio system, supported by more than 1,200 Harris mobile and portable radios. On Friday, November 22, 2013, Pittsylvania County became the first Harris-installed P25 Phase II system in the United States.

I was hired in June 2013 by Pittsylvania County Emergency Management to assist with the maintenance and operation of all communications equipment and system communication links across the Emergency Management transmitter sites.
